Kurt Blaukopf

Kurt Blaukopf (15 February 1914, in Chernivtsi – 14 June 1999, in Vienna) was an Austrian sociomusicologist and husband to Herta Blaukopf. He established sociomusicology as a subject at the Vienna Musikhochschule and founded the Institute of Music Sociology and the MEDIACULT Institute.
