Charles Robinson

American illustrator gave up practicing law in 1968 to illustrate books for children. He received many wards for his work, including the 1971 Gold Medal of the Society of Illustrators. NOT to be confused with the British art nouveau style illustrator Charles Robinson (2) (1870-1937).
