Copper Falls, Michigan
Now a ghost town, Copper Falls was once a mining town with an office, sawmill, over 25 dwellings, two boarding houses, and fully outfitted shops. It is located about 3 miles southwest of Eagle Harbor, Michigan, in Keweenaw County. The old Copper Falls mine was active from 1845 to 1850. The new Copper Falls mine was active from 1851 to 1901.
