Philippe Briet

Philippe Briet, born December 9, 1959 in Abbeville, in the Somme, and died February 25, 1997 (at 37 years old) in New York, is a French gallerist and publisher. Between 1977 and 1994, he organized 98 art exhibitions and contributed, in particular, to the rediscovery in the United States of the American painter Beauford Delaney.
