Italian Baseball

Italian baseball has a history that began at the end of the nineteenth century. The first federal championships and the FIBS (Federazione Italiana Baseball e Softaball) were formed after the Second World War. Nowadays there are about 50,000 members and 450 FIBS affiliated companies, divided into 5 levels of play, including the Italian Baseball League (now the A1 Baseball Series). The national team holds numerous European titles
