A. Johnson

Arthur Johnson was a German cartoonist and caricaturist. He contributed cartoons to the German weekly Kladderadatsch. Johnson’s birthplace is unclear, one source shows Cincinnati, Ohio while another shows Germany. Johnson was raised in Germany after his father, an American, was made the U.S. Consul in Hamburg, Germany.
