John L'Heureux
American poet, novelist, short story writer, editor, and professor emeritus of English at Stanford University where he has taught fiction writing since 1973. He is also a former Jesuit priest (he left the order in 1971), contributing editor to The Atlantic Monthly, and has formerly taught at Georgetown, Tufts, and Harvard.
