Don Carter
Donald James Carter (born July 29, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri – died January 5, 2012 in Miami, Florida) was a right-handed American professional bowler. He learned the game while working a childhood job as a pinsetter, and went on to become one of the legends of ten-pin bowling. Don was a founding member and first president of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) which was formed in 1958. He was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1975.
