The Venus Series

Science fantasy series written by American author Edgar Rice Burroughs. Also known as the Amtor series, or the Carson Napier of Venus series. The books: • Pirates of Venus (novel, 1934) • Lost on Venus (novel, 1935) • Carson of Venus (novel, 1939) • Escape on Venus (novel, 1946) • The Wizard of Venus (novella, 1964) In 2011, the Edgar Rice Burroughs estate commissioned a sixth novel, Skies of Venus, from writer Neal Romanek. The rights were purchased by Dark Horse in 2015 but the novel is yet to be released.
