Cope2, born as Fernando Carlo in 1968 in the South Bronx, is a graffiti artist who has gained international credit for his work. Influenced by his cousin Chico80 he started writing around 1978. In 1982 he founded his own crew called Kids Destroy, which was eventually changed to Kings Destroy. Very active during the 80s and 90s, he painted in all New York subway lines, which is how he earned his fame. Cope2 is well known for his "throw-up" (given to him by Cap One) and is also a user of "wildstyle" graffiti, a style which originated in the Bronx.
