Helen Hornbeck Tanner
Helen Hornbeck Tanner (born 1916 – died June 15, 2011 near Beulah, Michigan) was a historian of colonial North America, and a senior research fellow at the Newberry Library in Chicago, Illinois. In 2006 she was inducted into the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame for achievement in history and American Indian rights.
