Edmond Franquinet

Edmond Franquinet (1896-1974) - pseudonym P.R.O. Peller - was a Dutch judge, non-fiction writer and translator. He wrote a biography of Jules Verne and 21 non-fiction books on a variety of subjects (notably avionics, and arts and culture of his home province of Limburg). He also translated 12 books from English, French and German: most of those either books on space flight or science fiction novels. The pseudonym was to create distance between his judicial function and his writer activities.
