H. Fred Lening was a professional ten-pin bowler. He was a charter member of the PBA (Professional Bowlers Association) and won two PBA titles in his career. Lening was inducted into the Pennsylvania State USBC (United States Bowling Congress) Hall of Fame in 1984.
