Diva

Tabitha “Diva” Montenera was a graffiti artist, born in 1970 in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY. She began writing "Tabs" around 1984/85 with her partner "Peak" who she later went on to marry. They both took a break in 1987 and returned to doing graffiti in 1995. Since then Tabitha used the name "Diva". Her artwork could be seen in magazines, galleries, public displays and many places throughout the city. In June of 2016 Tabitha was diagnosed with Stage 3 non small cell lung cancer.
