Editori Riuniti University Press

Editori Riuniti is a publishing house founded in 1953 and historically close to the Italian Communist Party. It was born from the merger of two publishing houses: the "Edizioni Rinascita" by Valentino Gerratana and the "Edizioni di Cultura Sociale" directed by Roberto Bonchio, which until 1995 will remain the head of Editori Riuniti. Editori Riuniti University Press is an editorial acronym born in 2006 from a Editori Riuniti project to highlight the commitment of a historical brand in the university sector with the publication of university and non-fiction books. In 2007, from a simple project, it became a stand-alone brand, but still owned by Editori Riuniti. Since 2009, the Editori Riuniti University Press brand has become the property of Gruppo Editoriale Italiano S.r.l., which relaunches its activity with the publication of works on philosophy, history, current political and mathematical and physical sciences. In particular, in the field of mathematics and physics, the texts of the great mathematicians and physicists of the Soviet Union, still current and widely appreciated, are republished.
