Omar Khayyám
Omar Khayyám ; born Ghiyāth ad-Dīn Abu'l-Fatḥ ʿOmar ibn Ibrāhīm Khayyām Neīshāhpūrī; Persian: غیاثالدین ابوالفتح عمر ابراهیم خیام نیشابوری), was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages.
