Paolo Albertis
A painter and lithograph, the Albertis is known not only for his portraits but also for his paintings of genre and contemporary history. After his studies at the Academy of Naples with Jean-Baptiste Joseph Wicar, in 1815 he was commissioned to transform one of his paintings, a Popular Festival in the square, into Ferdinand I's entrance into Naples with the Austrians.
