Daniele Gasparri

Daniele Gasparri, born in 1983, has a degree in astronomy from the University of Bologna. Passionate about astronomy as a child, in 2007 he became the first amateur astronomer in the world to discover the transit of an exoplanet. For several years he has devoted himself full time to the dissemination of astronomy: to his credit he has over 30 books on practical and theoretical astronomy, hundreds of articles in Italian and international journals and as many public observation nights. Travel the length and breadth of the planet in search of auroras, eclipses and dark skies.
