Journalist, author, editor and translator (Spanish-English) with a background in music and arts journalism. For many years he was based in the UK. He has written for a range of publications, from Smash Hits to The Times. He was music, then books and later senior editor, of Time Out magazine (London) from 1980-1988. He spent much of the 1990s as a national newspaper sub-editor (copy editor), for The Daily Mirror, The Daily Express, The Observer, The Sunday Times. He now works as a freelance arts / travel journalist and author. He now lives in Greece.
