Established via a joint venture between Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures the Pokémon Company is responsible for the marketing and licensing surrounding the Pokémon franchise. The Pokémon Company International supports the territories outside of Asia, Australia and New Zealand. South Korea's operations are managed by Pokémon Korea, Inc.
