Boogie Jake

Real name: Matthew Jacobs Blues singer and guitarist. Recorded in J.D. Miller's Crowley, La., studio in 1957 (unissued at the time) and for Minit in Baton Rouge in 1959. Workout outside music 1961-1974, making appearances at the San Francisco Blues Festival in 1974 and 1977, a home-produced single released on Blues Connoisseur in 1977.
