Hal Butler

Hal Butler is an American editor, writer and author. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but spent most of his life in Detroit, Michigan. Butler’s writing career is one of great variety and he has written sports and detective fiction along with non-fiction on sports, travel, history, adventure and automobiles. His work has appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, Coronet, Pageant, Sport, True, American Mercury and several other publications. Butler also served as senior editor at the Ford Times.
