Castle Rock

Fictional town in Maine that provides the setting for a number of Stephen King's novels, novellas, and short stories. The town name is taken from the fictional mountain fort in William Golding's 1954 novel Lord of the Flies. On 25 July 2018 Hulu premiered a horror anthology television series called "Castle Rock" that is set in the town, and draws inspiration from King's novels and stories.
