Gert-Jan Mulder Profile: Born on February 5, 1975 in Antwerp, Belgium as son of a progressive Reverend. Brainpower was raised in Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands, where he became a fan of hip hop and rap. In 1994, he enrolled at University of Amsterdam and studied Communication Sciences.
