Paul Cain
Real Name: George Sims George Sims (born May 30, 1902 in Des Moines, Iowa, died June 23, 1966 in North Hollywood, California) was an American pulp fiction author and screenwriter. Under the pen name Paul Cain, Sims wrote 14 short stories and one novel, Fast One, originally published in the pulp magazine Black Mask. Writing under the pen name Peter Ruric, Sims wrote the screenplay for The Black Cat, a Universal horror film starring Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.
