Wolfram von Eschenbach

Wolfram von Eschenbach (c. 1160/80 – c. 1220) was a medieval German knight and poet, best known today for his Parzival. Based on Chrétien de Troyes' Perceval, le Conte du Graal, Parzival is the first extant work in German dealing with the Holy Grail.
