Rockharz

The Rock Resin Open Air is a metal festival and has been held annually in the resin since 1993/94. It started with well over 100 visitors and gigs on truck trailers. Since then, it has developed into a firm size in the annual metal festival plan. In the year 2018, around 17,000 visitors were counted. As a festival ground, the airport serves Ballenstedt. A particular feature of the Rock Resin Open Air, which both read on both equal stages, as Rock Stage and Dark Stage, was found only at a few other Festival of this Art in Germany. Besides, there are no time crossings between the band tours, as long as it is possible for the visitors to see each band tour.
