Fehmarn Open Air Festival

The Love-and-Peace-Festival (also Festival der Liebe) was a music festival with a total of about 25,000 visitors, which took place from September 4 to 6, 1970 on the Baltic island of Fehmarn at the Flügge lighthouse. Jimi Hendrix had his last festival appearance at the chaotic event before he was shown for the last time together with Eric Burdon at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London on September 16, 1970.
