Qurrat al-'Ayn

Qurrat l-ʿAyn (Arabic: قرة العين‎ ,"Solace/Consolation of the Eyes") is a title given to Fatimah Baraghani, a poet and theologian of the Bábí faith in Iran. She is also known as Táhirih (Persian: طاهره‎‎ , "The Pure One"). Born: 1814 or 1817 Died: 16-27 August 1852
