Double Detective

DOUBLE DETECTIVE debuted in November, 1937, was originally marketed as the Two-in-One Magazine. Each issue included both a selection of complete stories and a complete novel. Despite using good writers, Double Detective was not a success. Double Detective was then turned into a hero pulp featuring The Green Lama, who debuted in April, 1940. The magazine was canceled in October, 1941. Popular Publications revived the title in 1943, but it only lasted for one issue.
