Startling Stories was an American pulp science fiction magazine, published from 1939 to 1955 by Standard Magazines. Startling ran a complete novel in every issue, and a reprint of a classic story. Much of Startling's cover art was painted by Earle K. Bergey, who provided "Good Girl Art" featuring scantily clad heroines.
