John Francis Wilson
Englishman who emigrated to Canada in the late 1800s. He worked as a farmer-landowner in south-west Manitoba, near the Saskatchewan border, he retired in 1928. He never considered himself a professional artist, despite selling some of his work to the Illustrated London News and the Graphic.
