Blue Murder (2)

Blue Murder is a newwave band from Amsterdam that existed from 1982 to 1987. The band was founded by the brothers Maarten and Rogier van der Ploeg after the break-up of their previous band Soviet Sex. That too was a new wave band, but with more psychedelic traits. With Blue Murder they went more towards the guitar pop. Because this music is more accessible, the band is quickly in demand for performances.
