Sugarhill Gang

The Sugarhill Gang is an American hip-hop trio, which became the best known of Rapper's Delight, the first rap single to become a commercial success. The Sugarhill Gang was discovered by Sylvia Robinson (who, together with her husband Joe Robinson, also founded the record company Sugar Hill Records) and consisted of Wonder Mike, Big Bank Hank, and Master Gee.
