Michael Cheung

Michael “Mikey” Cheung is a Canadian poet, songwriter, filmmaker, writer and visual artist from Toronto, Canada. An eccentric, sardonic and prolific young artist, it is often hard to categorize his work in three short adjectives. His large breadth of work is often presented in an exposed and personal manner, touching upon the topics of love, existentialism and anxiety. The antithesis of an oxford scholar, the anti-anti-conformist, Michael’s idiosyncratic style trails behind him like a soot-black shadow, on dirty streets, in evening air. A crow in a flock of doves.
