Jan Kool

Jan Kool (died in 1995) was a physics and drawing teacher at the HBS in Hilversum. Born in Rotterdam and audio pioneer together with Henri van Hessen and Jacques Cluysenaer. Started writing in his spare time - also about astronomy and photography - first for Radio Bulletin for which Jhr. Roëll also had him tied up and later for Luister. Many thought he was the editor-in-chief of that magazine. After 25 years he thanked for the honor because of continuous intervention in his articles. I was particularly interested in research on speakers and pu elements. As the only reviewer spoke excellent Japanese, but is there - also the only one! - never been.
