Varying Speed of Light

The Theory of Special Relativity assumes that the speed of light (SOL) is a constant. Some physicists, such as João Magueijo, have proposed an alternative called the varying speed of light (VSL) which would explain some of the paradoxes inherent in constant SOL based theories.
