The Divergent Trilogy consists of three books written by Veronica Roth. The titles are Divergent (2011), Insurgent (2012) and Allegiant (2013). A fourth book, Four: A Divergent Collection (2014) is a collection of five short stories published individually as e-books between 2012-2014. According to Roth, these stories serve as a prequel to the Divergent trilogy.
