Zilog Z80
The Z80 is an 8-bit microprocessor introduced by Zilog. During the 1970s and 1980s, it was widely used for various computer-systems like the Osbourn 1 and the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It was also embedded in video-game systems (like the Sega Master System), synthesizers and other equipment. In East Germany an unlicenced clone named U880 was manufactured.
