Nyt Nordisk Forlag

Formed in Copenhagen by Christian Nielsen and Otto Halling, two former employees of Gyldendal. After a few years of financial troubles, they were forced to sell the company to local Bookshop owner Arnold Busck in 1922. The name was changed to Nyt Nordisk Forlag Arnold Busck, which was used until 2016 when the publishing company was, somewhat ironically, sold to Gyldendal. The original name is now being used as an imprint, and Nyt Nordisk Forlag, Gyldendal A/S is used for legal and copyright matters.
