Kurt Schwertsik

Kurt Schwertsik is an Austrian composer associated with the so-called "Third Viennese School" of composers who employ traditional tonality as opposed to the serial techniques of many other post-war composers. In 1958 he co-founded the ensemble "die reihe" together with Friedrich Cerha.
