Révai Irodalmi Intézet

Révai Irodalmi Intézet (Révai Brothers Literary) was a notable publishing company in Hungary. The Révai Testvérek (Révai Brothers) book trade company was founded by Révai Sámuel in 1869. The company set up a book trading and a scientific antique shop in Budapest. The company was initially run by his younger brother, Révai Leó (hence the name of the company), then run by his sons, Révai Mór János and Révai Ödön. Révai Mór János founded the company's publishing department in 1880. The enterprise grew over its original frames and became a joint-stock company on July 1, 1895. The CEO became Révay János Mór, the company titled as Révai Testvérek Irodalmi Intézet Részvénytársaság (Révai Testvérek Irodalmi Intézet Rt.).
