American songwriter, producer and soul singer. Under the name Chuck Jackson he had a prolific songwriting career with Marvin Yancy. He also released a number of records as a soul singer in the late 1970s under the name Charles Jackson. NOT to be confused with the other soul singer Chuck Jackson who was active since the late 1950s.
