| Notes | Pop Annual is a series of Record Research books that has a yearly ranking of songs that made the Billboard Hot 100 and Pop charts from #1-#100. They have all started at 1955, up to that revised edition's previous year. This edition is researched up to the year 2011. It went back to the usual "Pop Annual" title (it was called Hot 100 Annual in the previous edition). This is the first edition to: -include the rankings of all songs that hit Billboard's "Bubbling Under the Hot 100" chart -go into the now common 8.5x11 inches large format -exclude yearly artist rankings; instead including pictures of the Top 5 songs of each year in each year section (usually picture sleeves of that song) -exclude the Top 500 Pop Artists ranking The book is now out-of-print, and was updated in 2017. |
