| Notes | This was a long-awaited revamped and updated edition to one of Record Research's most popular books, Pop Memories. However, it mostly covers the years 1900-1940, unlike 1890-1954. Most of the research for the years 1940-1954 are featured in Record Research's Pop Hits Singles & Albums book, while the 1890's decade is represented in a special section of this edition. In its new 8.5x11 large format, there are loads of new features (too numerous to mention). Also, several bios have been updated and there are plenty of pictures throughout the book, unlike last edition. |
