NotesThis was a revised edition of Joel Whitburn's Rock Tracks research book, seven years after the first edition came out. It continued to feature the research of Billboard's Album (changed to Mainstream) Rock Tracks and Modern Rock Tracks up to October 2002. New features included shaded Top 10 tracks, RIAA certification for albums, listing order for tracks by album and Pop chart positions from the Airplay, Sales & Christmas chart. A special "Classic Rock Tracks" section was added, featuring a list (by artist) of songs that are generally "classic rock" from 1964-1980.
