NotesThis book, which is based on the Spanish Bombs blog, contains a selection of the most prominent punk and related styles record sleeves published in Spain between 1976 and 1984. With the covers as a central element, it have more than 200 full color pages. Includes 270 references, accompanied each of them of the data of its edition and an explanatory text, where they are indicated -if any- the differences to the original edition. Although the book is focused on the singles, it also has two more sections, dedicated to LPs and to labels. Regarding punk, it contains practically all singles releasedin Spain between 1976 and 1984. Sex Pistols, The Clash, Ramones, Damned, The Jam, Adverts, Stiff Little Fingers, Sham 69, Cock Sparrer, Slaughter & The dogs, Heartbreakers, The Dictators, Dead Kennedys or The Undertones among others. Regarding the 2 Tone there are no missing names like Madness, The Specials or The Selecter. The power pop and the new wave are well represented by The Beat, Elvis costello, Romantics, B52, The Cars, Blondie, The Vapors, Nina Hagen, The Cure, Television or Cheap Trick. We have taken one small license going back to the protopunk with names like MC5, Stooges or New York Dolls. Self-edited with DIY spirit as Complete Control Publishing and limited edition.
