| Notes | There is confusion about the first edition and contents of this anthology, since there are two anthologies with almost identical names published simultaneously in England and in the United States. The English edition, titled "The Terminal Beach", was published by the Gollancz publishing house; while the US edition, titled only "Terminal Beach", was published by the Berkley Medallion publisher.
