| Notes | The credits on the title page are incorrect; Lawrence and Horak are not credited. Originally published as a daily comic strip in the British newspaper Daily Express, as follows: Goldfinger published 3 October 1960 – 1 April 1961 Risico published 3 April 1961 – 24 June 1961 From a View to a Kill published 26 June 1961 – 9 September 1961 For Your Eyes Only published 11 September 1961 – 9 December 1961 The Man with the Golden Gun published 10 January 1966 – 9 September 1966 The Living Daylights published 12 September 1966 – 12 November 1966 When Yaroslav Horak replaced John McLusky as artist, the numbering of the strips started over at 1. The four-year gap between "For Your Eyes Only" and "The Man with the Golden Gun" is the result of: a) Publication of "Thunderball," "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," and "You Only Live Twice" in a separate volume devoted to stories dealing with SPECTRE; and b) A hiatus in publication between "Thunderball" and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" lasting from February 1962 to June 1964 due to a dispute between Ian Fleming and the Daily Express. |
