| Notes | This issue introduces Peggy Carter, who will be a recurring character in this title through Captain America #191.
Peggy Carter's first and only actual appearance occurred in Tales of Suspense #77 as Cap's un-named love interest from war torn Paris during World War II.
Trivia:
In Golden Age continuity, Betty Ross was Captain America (Steve Rogers)'s girlfriend during World War II. Betty eventually married Jeff Mace (Captain America III) years after Steve Rogers disappeared in 1945. Steve must have briefly forgotten about Betty while he was in Paris. |
